  Desenvolvimento de APIs RESTful escaláveis em Ruby on Rails para plataforma de benefícios de saúde. A pessoa Desenvolvedora Ruby on Rails Pleno atuará no time de engenharia de um cliente da área de saúde, uma das maiores plataformas de benefícios de saúde, com presença em mais de 2500 cidades no Brasil e México. A empresa possui uma cultura técnica sólida, baixo turnover e forte valorização dos times internos. O profissional terá autonomia para se desenvolver em um ambiente onde a qualidade é responsabilidade direta do desenvolvedor. Responsabilidades • Desenvolver e sustentar APIs RESTful escaláveis e resilientes em Ruby on Rails. • Participar de todo o ciclo de desenvolvimento: arquitetura, implementação, testes automatizados, deploy e monitoramento em produção. • Atuar na evolução do core (monólito) e também em frentes de microsserviços e integrações com parceiros (ex.: ERPs, gateways de pagamento, plataformas externas). • Garantir qualidade técnica via Code Review, boas práticas de engenharia (Clean Code, SOLID) e padrões do time. • Monitorar e otimizar performance: APM, tuning de recursos, análise e melhoria de queries. • Trabalhar em squads multidisciplinares em modelo ágil (Scrum/Kanban), com colaboração próxima entre engenharia e produto. • Navegar entre contextos (quando necessário) com times e fluxos em TypeScript e mobile, mantendo visão sistêmica. Requisitos: - Senioridade comprovada com Ruby on Rails. - Domínio de APIs REST (design, documentação e consumo). - Experiência sólida com PostgreSQL e modelagem de dados. - Experiência com Git/GitHub. - Familiaridade forte com testes automatizados (ex.: RSpec — e entendimento de abordagens de teste unitário, integração e caixa-preta). - Vivência em Cloud (AWS). - Mentalidade de ownership: autonomia, proatividade e foco em entregar valor com responsabilidade técnica. - Arquitetura de Microsserviços e Mensageria (AWS SNS/SQS). - Conhecimento em Docker e Kubernetes. - Conhecimento em Bancos NoSQL e caches/filas: Redis, DocumentDB, DynamoDB. - Experiência com CI/CD (ex.: GitHub Actions, Argo CD). - Espanhol. What You'll Do • Design and develop robust, scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and best practices. • Architect and optimize complex database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL or MySQL and ActiveRecord. • Implement background processing and asynchronous task management using Sidekiq or Resque. • Build and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs to support diverse front-end and third-party integrations. • Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using RSpec to ensure code reliability and high test coverage. • Lead the deployment and maintenance of applications within AWS environments, ensuring system availability and performance. What We Are Looking For • 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Ruby on Rails. • Proven expertise in building and scaling monolithic and modular Rails applications. • Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL and ActiveRecord. • Experience implementing background job processing using Sidekiq or Resque. • Solid understanding of REST APIs and AWS deployment strategies. • Advanced proficiency in English.
